Strategic Service Delivery

Focused on equitable access to healthcare, AMH-K leverages existing community health systems and public institutions to deliver comprehensive mental health services. Community Health Promoters(volunteers) play a crucial role in ensuring that services are accessible and responsive to community needs, localizing with the goal of achieving Universal Health Care(SDG3).

Advocacy

AMH-K conducts robust advocacy efforts to promote the rights and accessibility to mental health services. This includes policy advocacy at local, county, and national levels to combat stigma, increase service availability, and improve quality of care. Public *education and awareness campaigns are integral to challenging misconceptions and fostering supportive environments.

Empowerment

Central to its mission, AMH-K empowers pearsons with mental disabilities to overcome socio-economic and physical barriers. This empowerment enables them to assert their rights, participate in decision-making processes, self-reliance and access public services, thereby enhancing their quality of life and fostering resilience.
